I started using this one when my son was little and it’s still a solid option. It goes on nicely (not too thick for a mineral sunscreen) and doesn’t have any added fragrance. It’s also EWG VERIFIED® and holds up well in the water. A great backup to have on hand!
☀️ ATTITUDE Mineral Sunscreen Stick for Kids, SPF 30 (Unscented)
This one’s another stick format, which I love for quick touch-ups at the pool or park. It’s clean, unscented, and water-resistant like the others. Also great if you’re looking for something a little more compact or travel-friendly. Works well for sensitive skin, too.
How Often Should You Reapply Sunscreen on Kids?
Even with the best sunscreen, reapplication is key, especially with little ones who are constantly in and out of the water and love using towels like full-body scrubbers.
–Reapply every 2 hours when kids are playing outside, even if they’re not swimming.
–Reapply immediately after swimming or towel drying, even if the sunscreen says “water-resistant” (most are only tested for 40 to 80 minutes of water exposure).
–Don’t forget the little spots: ears, backs of knees, tops of feet, and behind the neck.
